Leyla Baghirzade is a senior executive with over 15 years of international experience in investment banking and finance. She is the Founder and CEO of Swiss Alternative Financing AG (Geneva), as well as Founder and President of the Global Oracle Association for Leaders (GOAL), an international platform advancing strategic partnerships for sustainable development, women’s empowerment, and education through blockchain and AI.
Leyla holds advanced degrees in Corporate Finance, Management Economics, Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology, Trade Diplomacy, International Relations, and Sustainability. She is widely recognized for her leadership across both public and private sectors.
She holds board and leadership positions in several organizations, including as Board Member and Head of the Azerbaijani Chapter at the Joint Chamber of Commerce (JCC) for Switzerland–Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and South Caucasus; Board Member at the Association of International Chambers of Commerce (AICC) in Geneva, which connects 25 countries; and Board Member at Blockchain Azerbaijan (Baku). Additionally, Leyla leads the Azerbaijani Chapter for Women in Web3 in Switzerland and globally, where she is dedicated to promoting women’s leadership in technology and finance.
Leyla has co-founded a Swiss HealthTech company utilizing blockchain technology and represented the Eastern Partnership countries at the EU4Digital programme on blockchain and scale-ups organized by the European Union. She is a frequent speaker at major international forums, including the World Economic Forum in Davos and the World Summit on Information Society, and served as a mentor for the UNDP “Women in STEM” initiative.
Her contributions have been recognized with several honors, including being named among the 100 successful young people of the Azerbaijan Republic. Most recently, Leyla was awarded the Women in Web3 Winner for Central Asia and the Caucasus and was a Global Finalist by Women in Tech Global, reflecting her ongoing commitment to innovation, inclusion, and impact in the digital economy.
