Raquel Jiménez Alcalá is Head of Security & Privacy Analytics at Gradiant, the Galician Research and Development Center in Telecommunications. She holds degrees in Industrial Organization Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering, and a Master’s in Economics and Innovation Management. Raquel has worked on industrial property management and has over nine years of experience at AMETIC, where she promoted national and European policies in cybersecurity and blockchain. At Gradiant, she leads research and innovation activities in cybersecurity, privacy analytics, and technology transfer, contributing to EU-level initiatives such as ECSO and the Spanish National Cybersecurity Forum (FNC), and to regulatory consultations related to NIS2, the Cybersecurity Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act.
