Vicente Martin, is Full Professor of Computational Sciences at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), where he also serves as the Deputy Director of the Center for Computational Simulation and leads the Research Group on Quantum Information. He has been IP in more than 25 projects on Quantum communications, both national and international, notably in the Quantum Flagship and coordinates the Madrid Quantum Communications project of the Spanish national program on quantum communications (PC3). His main research focus is on the integration of Quantum Communications in telecommunications networks and security infrastructures. He also works in standards for Quantum networks, founder and vicechair in ETSI Industry Specification Group on Quantum Key Distribution, and in CEN where he is the convener of the Quantum cryptography and Communications Workgroup.
