Luncheon on the sidelines of WEF Davos 2023

As part of the events of the World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos, Global Forum Shaping the Future, together with the EU NBS Research and Innovation Task Forces, the Global Commons Alliance and the Water and Humanity Platform, has co-organized a Luncheon on Revamping Investment for Nature Regeneration.

Around 70 representatives of the banking and financial sector, the corporate sector, energy companies, but also policy formulators from various countries came together during a convivial luncheon on 18 January at the Morosani Post-Hotel to prepare the next stage of impact driven Nature Based Solutions financing.

The objective was to provide a platform for deliberations on how to innovate around the nature positive economy, reworking the interface between funding mechanisms and action on the ground.

The format was as follows:

The luncheon was organized in 6 tables of 11 persons. Each table had its own topic with several related questions to discuss. There were two moderators and a rapporteur at each table. Not only the Morosani Post-Hotel was an excellent location and the lunch served was brilliant, but also the participants engaged in substantial discussions on issues related to the promotion of impact investment in nature regeneration.
