Global Forum Member Jean-Yves Le Gall honored with prestigious AIAA Award. Congratulations!
Jean-Yves Le Gall, Former President CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales), ESA Council (European Space Agency), Arianespace, IAF (International Astronautical Federation), and long-standing member of the Global Forum, was awarded the AIAA International Cooperation Award.

In February, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) announced this year’s recipients of the AIAA Premier Awards. The award recognizes “the most influential and inspiring individuals in aerospace whose outstanding contributions merit the highest accolades”. The 2024 AIAA Premier Awards were presented during the AIAA Awards Gala on 15 May, in Washington, DC.
Jean-Yves Le Gall, was honored “For extraordinary contributions and leadership, and for major collaborations with the international community in the development and operation of space missions for scientific and civil applications.”
