It’s hard to believe the year is already coming to an end! As we prepare to welcome 2025, we take a moment to reflect on the past year and extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your continued commitment and partnership.
2024 brought a number of remarkable achievements:
We began the year with a successful webinar on Creative Innovative Cities & Energy and Water Transition, part of our ongoing webinar series aimed at raising awareness of critical topics.
Another significant milestone was the launch of the Europe Horizon PRESERVE project, in which Global Forum Shaping the Future plays a key role in supporting the communication and dissemination activities.
We were also thrilled to see the publication of the book ‘Implementing Sustainable Cities’ featuring numerous contributions from valued partners within the association.
Although there have been significant achievements, 2024 has not been without challenges: While we all have been looking forward to meet in November for our major bi-annual event, geopolitical instabilities forced us to postpone. However, thanks to your support, a solid network and great partners, we will be able to meet in person next year:
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the next Global Forum on Technology, Humanity & Sustainability 2025 will be held on 20 & 21 October 2025 in Madrid, Spain.
In these times of pressing global challenges, the need for cooperation has never been greater. Yet, meaningful collaboration isn’t something that just happens—it requires deliberate effort and bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. More than ever, Global Forum Shaping the Future remains committed to advancing a digital, peaceful, and sustainable future for all.
